Wow, such a number of good restaurants. We’re thinking of going to Maui in the near future so this will be a great guide.
I just returned from Maui last night (1/7/24) and sad to say Mala Ocean Tavern and Star Noodle are not open yet.
Yes, I have a note on that section. I have read they hope to open in February. We go at the end of February and I will update then.
What did you do during your trip that was your favorite? Were the whales active? We love whale season!
So do I.
Thank you for sharing to help Lahaina on our planned visit.
Just returned from 2weeks at The Whaler in West Maui. We agree with your restaurant suggestions. You left off the Gazebo. Great breakfast and lunch, but always a wait to get in. View is fantastic. And Dollie’s is fantastic, especially the daily specials. The bar itself reminds us of Cheer’s.
Thanks! Gazebo is on there, it’s under Kahana/Kapalua/Napili with a view. It’s one of our favorite places, we love their fried rice. Have you checked out our Breakfast guide? https://cultivatetraveling.com/best-breakfast-in-lahaina-kaanapali-maui
